Welcome to Women in Green, an attempt to bring core articles on women and women's works up to minimum Wikipedia:Good article (GA) status. We currently have just 1415 articles out of 30,781 Good Articles on the site, roughly 4.6%.

Never written a Good Article? No worries! Every incremental improvement of articles within the scope of WikiProject Women is welcome. Do whatever you enjoy doing and if you have questions, or seek a mentor to get an article improved/nominated for GA, just ask. We are in it together.

Visit our new GA Tasks Bulletin Board to post a request for help with specific editing tasks on your current GA project (or respond to somebody else's request).

Current nominations[edit]

Group goals[edit]

For 2020, Women in Green has four goals: (1) to submit 20 GA nominations about women/women's works related to sports, (2) to submit 25 "Wildcard" GA nominations about women/women's works of any kind, (3) to complete 10 GA nomination reviews of articles about women/women's works, and (4) to submit 5 Featured Article (FA) nominations about women/women's works. All project participants are encouraged to add their nominated or reviewed articles to the 2020 Goal Tracking list.

Past goals[edit]

2019: Women in Green members surpassed their goals of submitting 20 GA nominations about women's suffrage and 20 "wildcard" GA nominations about women or women's works, achieving a final total of 44 nominations. As of March 2020, 35 of these nominations have successfully passed GA review, with 9 more awaiting review.

2018: Women in Green members surpassed their goal of submitting a collective total of 25 GA nominations about women or women's works, achieving a final total of 27. All nominations were successfully passed as GA articles.

Nominations waiting review[edit]

Below is an automatically generated list of articles about women and women's works which have been nominated for GA and are waiting to be reviewed. *Please Note: Inclusion in this list does not indicate that the nominating editor of the article is a member of Women in Green. This list is merely intended to draw attention to these nominated articles and encourage interested editors to help out by reviewing GA nominations.

Interested in reviewing a GA nomination, but unfamiliar with the process? Please read the GA review instructions and feel free to ask questions at the Good Article Help Desk. All Women in Green project members must follow the GA review instructions, and should not promote articles to GA status without a good faith belief that the article meets the Good Article Criteria.
