Welcome. Please note that this page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.
Shortcuts

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or rejected Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

This page is only for requesting undeletion of pages and files which have already been deleted. If the page you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

Note that requests for undeletion are not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.

Alex Chapman[edit]

Administrator Canderson7 speedy deleted Alex Chapman, as an attack page, in 2005, but haven't been active since 2014. There have been multiple individuals named Alex Chapman, who are potentially notable. The late ex-husband of the beautiful spy, Anna Chapman, was one. There is a DJ who may be notable. My request today... could someone look at the deleted revisions and confirm they weren't about an Alex Chapman with some genuine notability? Thanks! The individual who requested the deletion falsely claimed that the page was posted to promote a profit. In reality it is to explore the history of the Disc Sport Saucer Tennis invented by me in 1976, and verified by a link to the Library of Congress page that displays my 1980 copyright. StoreKing[edit]

GamePlasma[edit]

I request this page for undeletion because the admin who deleted the page, User:DakotaKahn is no longer an admin/user no longer exists to discuss and although GamePlasma is not an active publication at present, the reasons listed for deletion do not seem appropriate. At the time of its deletion, GamePlasma's flagship website, www.gameplasma.com, was in the top 10,000 websites on the Internet according to Alexa.com Rankings [1]). From the Wikipedia entry about GameRankings: "GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average." GamePlasma was one of 20 publications that were "deemed notable" to determine the average review score of a video game. In addition to its rating system being unique, covering industry events such as E3, GDC, CES, etc., GamePlasma was also known worldwide for breaking the story about the first instance of plagiarism in the video game industry resulting in the game being recalled from retail stores. Request this page be un-deleted. The "List_of_Games_with_Gold_games" page is a very useful reference to know what games were already offered on Games with Gold. Since Microsoft has never offered the same game twice, this information allows Wiki readers to know when they should not still expect to see a particular game title offered.
