Pictures from BoundCon[edit]
Regarding your recent comment about the pictures from BoundCon, see my original message at Commons:Deletion requests/Pictures from BoundCon:
I have asked the event staff about this back in 2013. The message I received is below: Solange keine Unbeteiligten, also Gäste zu erkennen sind, können Sie gerne Fotos von der BoundCon veröffentlichen... Andreas Voetterl
Translation: As long as no non-involved people, that is to say guests, can be identified, you can gladly publish photos from BoundCon... Andreas Voetterl

Am I allowed to publish the photos on WikiMedia Commons or on a Finnish BDSM forum? The publication would of course be completely non-commerical. A special question is about this photo of 13 women in handcuffs at a bondage show by British Bondage. I have understood that not all of these women are models - some are normal guests. Is this true? And if it is, am I still allowed to publish the photo? (Note: In the end, I never published the photo of 13 women in handcuffs.)

- Hi @JIP: OTRS will need this letter (send from the event host to OTRS-permissions). But there is a problem: the mail speaks about "non-commercial" (nc )use, but Commons needs a free (=commercial) license. It would certainly best if the host names a specific license (ie cc-by-sa-4.0) in their mail and if this was linked to the license text at creative-commons.org. --C.Suthorn (talk) 14:02, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
