Léa Lacroix Project Manager Community Communication for Wikidata Wikimedia Deutschland 👧 About me Hello there! I'm Léa, and I'm taking care of communication between the Wikidata development team and the community. I'm working at Wikimedia Germany within the Software Department, where plenty of people care of the development of Wikidata: the product manager Lydia Pintscher, a team of engineers, UX researchers, data scientist, etc. Together we maintain the technical side of Wikidata, develop some new features and support the community adding and reusing the content of the knowledge base. I’m here to share information between the development team and the community, in both directions: I give updates about the development, features to come, issues that may appear, as well as I collect feedback from the community: I help reporting bugs, we exchange about the editors wishes and needs for new features. I also support the volunteers by helping them connect to each other and share their enthusiasm about Wikidata, for example by organizing meetups, conferences like the WikidataCon, or giving away some Wikidata swag for their workshops or events.
