I'm hosting an Edit-A-Thon on March 27, 2020 from 11am-3pm at the Sciences Library at Indiana University. I'm expecting at least 40 attendees and would like to have event coordinator status for the event. I've edited a few times at other IU Wikipedia Edit-A-Thons. Event information can be found here: https://events.iu.edu/libraries/view/event/date/20200327/event_id/122419 I also created a dashboard to facilitate the Edit-A-Thon: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Indiana_University/Women_in_STEM_Wikipedia_Edit-A-Thon Thanks! Hello @A1l3min4ix:. Now that you have made a dashboard, that will allow you to create all the accounts that sign up through the dashboard (it didn't used to work like that but now it does). Will you be needing to "manually" make accounts or "manually" confirm accounts at this event as well? — xaosflux Talk 15:34, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
Hello again! Yes Xaosflux, I will be helping users manually make accounts as well as confirming the accounts.
On hold until closer to event. — xaosflux Talk 16:33, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

I'm hosting an Edit-A-Thon on March 14, 2020 from 11am-4pm at the Harn Museum of Art Sciences at the University of Florida. I'm expecting at least 40 attendees and would like to have event coordinator status for the event. I've edited a few times at previous events. Event information can be found here: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Harn_Museum_of_Art/Gainesville_Harn_ArtAndFeminism_2020_(March_14,_2020)/home JaxieDad (talk) 16:10, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
JaxieDad - do you expect to be manually flagging attendee's accounts as confirmed? stwalkerster (talk) 19:53, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
Stwalkerster Each year, we are advised to request status to approve individuals to create Wikipedia accounts, to avoid being locked out by too many requests from our IP location. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JaxieDad (talk • contribs) 20:25, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
@JaxieDad: since last year the dashboard has been changed, so long as you make accounts via the dashboard there is no longer a limit. Will your event require "manual flaggings"? — xaosflux Talk 14:31, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

@Maram ali ahmed: the outreach dashboard has been enhanced and no longer has a number of accounts limit, will your event require manually confirming users? If so what will that be needed for? — xaosflux Talk 14:32, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
